Encore eBay Fund-Raising Online Auction
“Take an Analyst to Lunch or Dinner”
October 4-13, 2010
Bidding began on October 4 at 9:30 a.m. EDT and ends at 8:30 a.m. EDT on Wednesday, October 13.
For the second year, the Foundation has gathered more than 20 analysts from the US, Canada and the UK who have graciously accepted our request to make their knowledge and advice available to our friends and members – for the support of the MTA Educational Foundation.  Minimum Bid – $300

  • All payments by check only (in US$) – no credit cards, no PayPal.  Winning bidders get the right to take the analyst to lunch or dinner at their own expense.  If that is not possible, a 45 minute phone conversation should be scheduled.
  • Meals and phone conversations should be completed by the end of 2010.
  • Contact information will be exchanged when the check is received.
  • Bidding by a group of people (partners, an investment club or even an MTA chapter) is allowed but only as a phone conversation, as a lunch date would be “unwieldy.”
  • The auction is open from 9:30 a.m. EDT on Monday, October 4 until 9:30 a.m. EDT on Wednesday, October 13, 2010
  • All bidders must create a free eBay account.  To place a bid, bidders click “BID” and enter the amount of bid.https://scgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?RegisterEnterInfo
  • Standard eBay rules and guidelines apply.http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/basics.html
